March 19th - Thursday
Awarding for Top performers at work, got the Top Auditor Award.
It's my 3rd month now in a row that I get the prize of dressdown for a month. :D
March 20th - Friday
eleine, julie, ria, and other C1$c0 / CVG peeps greeted me.
Work shift from 9[m til 6am hehe
March 21st - Saturday
I headed to the clinic, nurse Catie greeted me and we talked about stuff. She is leaving soon na daw. :(
rested for a bit and went to U.P.
Zane took pix of me, Gave a suplado token to Kon. Played 1 game of L5R with J.R.
Asked if they would go to game crab. nobody wanted to so there. hehe.
Went to Game Crab by 2:30pm met with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ninjapeps and 2 of his friends Monica and Crissa.
We played Apples to Apples, What's Yours Like?, Guillotine, and Last Night on Earth then ate afterwards.
Nobody else arrived so we called it a night.
I headed to Gaeb's place via taxi cab. note to self: it cost Php75 on the meter.
We played Dominion, ate some KFC then
March 22nd - Sunday
had a Three Hour game of Battle Star Galactica w/c was FUN but took all the energy out of us!
By this time I was too groggy from lack of sleep to play anymore so I didn't get to play with Chester and Po when they arrived.
When home with Ruben, Jem, and Edge. at around 6am.
I got up at around noon had a late lunch at Racks w// family and then shopping at Rob Galleria.
We went to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Galleria. Cris took our order.
Finished off the rest of Big Bang Theory season 1

Dec 24 Lunch - Main Family Reunion - Raoul's house Alabang Hills
We arrived late. Had pics taken, ate food, people left, got presents (aka cash)
Went to my cousin J's pad. took a rest on the bed while my shoti played various FPS on the gaming PC.
Dec 24 Late night - First cousins Family Reunion - most likely Mikko's house Filinvest East.
slept, ate food, slept
sis gave me a copy of Watchmen.
read it over the course of 2 days.
Dec 25... bought my brothers a PSP to share
Ate at Kimpura for dinner. Kakiage + Tonkatsu (with Tartar sauce) with curry fried rice = win!
Dec 27 BV & Friends - Basagan at hamster_friend's place.
Went to the Game Crab w/ Jason, FLiP, Franco, Aerol, Mike, Mikey, played the Lord of the Rings as the five hobbits. Yes I said five. check em out here!
Dec 28 555 SARDYnas reunion -
TL Ardy is back from Bacolod, he commented that I looked slimmer. (roll eyes) We went to some italian resto at Metrowalk. Time there was mostly spent on recounting the events during the outings that I hadn't gone to since I wasn't with the team yet Hannah recognized me as someone who joined another outing a year ago. Good memory since I totally forgot about who she was. She said that someone from her account was moving to our account. So I have to watch out for a William Castillo or something like that.

Wow... it feels like I haven't posted in a long time. I haven't been able to use the home computer for a while like this and it seems like the best opportunity. *edit* wow took me 1 and a half hours for this entry.
It's nearly christmas and the year is about to end.
I have work in a few hours and oh... I don't work for AT&T-Accenture anymore. I work for Cisco now.

Our family did the usual thing which was to visit my father's grave and eat out
we also went to my grandfather's grave on the way back home.

I lost my internet for a month so all the XMassy and NYearsy goodness has been lost due to my abrupt departure from the online realm plus the fact that I had to work on both the eves and the days.
I found out that I'm not allowed to mention the name of the company I work for so I will just refer to it as "The Company" from now on.
I'm still waiting for my Japanese toys to arrive. The shipping notice was on Dec 17th so my toys have been travelling for about a month now.
I hope their journey comes to an end soon.

@ work we had a picture taking for our part of the Broke Black team.
I didn't take my lunch so I could hurry out of there and attend Filbert's wedding.
I got to Oasis at around 5pm... Dave then texted me to go up. I saw him peeking out of a window... I saw stairs. I thought he was making a zigzag pattern for me to climb up those stairs so I did. I entered the room via the balcony and found Fil and Shanda in the same room.
Dave couldn't stop laughing because he thought I would use the elevator and not the fire escape to go up. :)
Fil's wedding was fun. I saw a lot of old faces Melo, Leslie R., Angelique, Marv, Lorr, Mei-Ling Tan, Jer, and saw I saw Ritzie for basically the first time ever. I still can't imagine Filbert being serious. :p After the reception, we went to Dave's shobe's bday party at Gerardo's. I got my pic taken with Jodi Sta. Maria with one of Dave's cousin's cameras. I'm just waiting for the pic to be sent to me so I can upload it haha. :p
Sched change from an 8am to 5pm sched to a 5pm-2am sched yuck. at least there's night diff somehow.

Almost everything in my life around now involves work.
Don't get me wrong.. I love my work. I just love it when I get the feeling that I help people.
Work sched was 3am to 12nn with Fridays and Saturdays off but starting this Sunday it will be from 10am to 7pm with Wednesday and Friday off. This new sched will seriously cut into my L5R CCG time so I might be laying low for a while.
Things that keep me sane as of the moment
1. YM chats with Jamie who is a lot worse off than I am. -someone to help and make happy. It's her bday today and there's no party.
2. Mafiagang google group - keeps my functional logical brain on its toes
3. The thought of blowing all of my money on getting a DS Lite today as in now na. - the anticipation of it makes me high
4. Livejournal - updates of friends lives makes me happy... that's why I thought I should reciprocate somewhat
5. The thought of being in well dressed pauper mode for the next week is fun. :p

12:19 am - Eiga Sai and my U.P adventure today

I went to Convergys to submit my preemployment requirements and I found the recruiter to be friendly yet very scary. I headed out flustered afterwards and hit the glass door. I had to bend my glasses to fix their positions.
I got to UP and got off at Vinzon's hall and walked towards the old OUR area. I was asked by a dad in a silver corolla about the way to the Math building and I told him the best route to take. I proceeded to walk and then found out that the OUR had moved. I then walked to the street behind the Acad Oval and travelled until I got behind the Chem Pav where I met Justin Lim. I talked to him for a bit and found out he was going to get his grad pics tom. I asked if he knew where the new OUR was and he confirmed that it was straight ahead.
When I got to the OUR, I filled up a TOR request form and sat in a chair. An old lady talked to me and told me it was her job to get TORs for people. She then went about telling me that La Salle could send it to you express in 2 days or normal in a week. With UST you get it in a week but in U.P. since it's from the very very slow government, you get it in 3 months. She then lectured me about people from U.P. can't take hardships and quit when the going gets tough and get into an arguement with their supervisors. She then explains that we were on a ship in the sea of life. Waves come and rock the ship but we should not give up our jobs. It would be ok if it were at the start and you see a better opportunity like the guy she knows that was supposed to go to London but eventually became a vice-president in one of the local banks here in the Philippines. Anyway... I applied for clearance and I have to call on July 17th to ask if I'm clear or if I need some more stuff done.
I walked back to civilization and Dino saw me from his car and we smiled/waved at each other. I headed as far as Kamia and took an ikot ride to the post office. I arrived a little past 5pm and I asked if they could tell me how much I would need to spend in postage for sending the items to Dubai and they said it was 49 pesos. Not bad I thought since LBC courier would cost me 2100 pesos. I walked to the UP Film Institute and caught the movie "Inochi". It was a story about a play director who got cancer and had a child with his assistant. He battled it for some time until he dies... but not without giving hope to his wife and the courage to live on. It was a very touching story.
I went out and got a Sprite from the vendor and fell into a long line for the next movie "Kamikaze Girls". It's a nice comedic film with beautifully dressed lead characters. I won't spoil the film but it's a guaranteed must watch! I saw one of the band members of Death by Tampon there and she was wearing frills. You can't miss her since DBT dresses that way since forever. *edit* it was Mich Dulce I didn't really watch PBB kasi so I didn't really know her name. I think she also sang in Aleck Bovick's bday party some time ago. anyway... go watch "Kamikaze Girls"!!!

10:25 pm - N.B.I. Clearance
|
I applied for my NBI Clearance today. The line was as long as hell. I couldn't help but get into a conversation with my line-mate. Anthony Vilaflor from Catanduanes. My U.P. ID finally pulled through with being accepted as "Valid" unlike in all other places since U.P. failed to place birthdates and addresses on them so it's technically a useless "Valid" ID since school IDs are supposed to be "Valid".
4 hours of waiting in line and half an hour max of processing time(thumbprinting, actual payment, photo taking). I'm now in the "System" and the Government can track my every movement!

I went to a jobfair last wednesday and submitted my resume to the companies there.
I got pre-interviewed for Havenlink Solutions an was asked to return on Jun22 2pm at their office.
Yesterday, Convergys called and invited me over on Jun22 11am.
I went to Convergys and by 7pm I have already signed a contract with them.
Now I need to get some documents from the government so I can become a tax-paying person.

1. I don't finish a lot of console RPGs I play. I don't know why but when I reach far enough to do battle with the final boss, I just stop. Fortunately, this did not happen to me with Suikoden 2, 3, 4, Chrono Cross, Radiata Stories and a few others which were all to excellent to just stop playing since the story drove me to go on.
2. I tend to see connections about two or more things that most people do not. Perhaps it is because my brain is wired differently. I also know a little bit about everything. Enough to make people who know nothing about the topic think I know everything about it. I do know my limits and refer him to someone else when I have no clue about what he's asking about anymore since being a know it all is bad. :D
3. I felt a lot at home with people with foreign upbringing/blood. In CSA - Makati, a lot of my friends were either Indian, Korean, Chinese, or Japanese with the exception of everyone in our artist clique. In college, I joined the UPCSA since I was invited by one of the members and people from CURSOR tag me as Chinese anyway.
4. On my allergies and phobias... I have become lactose intolerant. I think this was developed when I drank nothing but milk the first 7 or so years of my life. I still love my cheese though. I was allergic to crab but I don't think I am anymore. I'm allergic to alcohol(the drinking kind) so one of the worst things you can do to me is spike my drink. I'm afraid of dogs unless they are puppies. But since commuting is pretty much a part of life now, I handle it by keeping my cool and not letting my arms dangle for them to chew upon.
5. I like cute stuff even if they have no useful purpose in life aside from making people smile. I have a HK blog that can make a lot of people here go wtf?!?! Here's a little sample. *insert evil grin*
6. The weirdest thing about me that I can think of is that I have no problem with having platonic relationships.
